Water Taxis in Buzios

Water taxis are the best way to hop from one beach to another. 

Buzios is a 5 mile peninsula with plenty of scope for water transportation. Brazil’s French Riviera is filled with water taxis that shuttle between beaches for around a dollar per ride. There are plenty of water activities around the warm and shallow waters, making it an enjoyable and most efficient way to journey across Buzios from the docks.

A Mini Cruise

For around US$8, you can arrange a private tour on a water taxi and get to visit many of Buzios’ northern beaches in a water taxi. This is an ideal way to spend a couple of hours enjoying the view from offshore and a great way to visit many beaches. They run during the day on the protected side of the bay, between João Fernandes and Tartaruga.

A trip from Centro to Azeda beach costs around US$ 2.50 and from Centro to João Fernandes beach US$ 4. A water taxi can carry up to seven passengers on a trip. They can be called for on tel. Catamarans

You can visit the beautiful beaches of Buzios in the comfort and security of a catamaran. For around US$38 per adult and US$29 per child, you can set sail from the pier and enjoy a guided tour across the turquoise waters of the ocean. Catamarans are equipped with a glass floor so you can enjoy a splendid view of the underwater world full of coral reefs, tropical fish and plenty more.

All you need to do is sit back, relax on the deck and soak in the sun. You won’t be able to resist the temptation to stop along the way for some diving and snorkeling to get a closer view of underwater life.Make sure to carry plenty of sunscreen and a pair of sunglasses if you want to enjoy basking in the sun.

An extra towel, swimsuit and a set of clothes are recommended. Each catamaran is equipped with toilets and plenty of beverages to last the trip.
